As one of 50 to 60 inboard races hosted from coast to
coast annually, the Clarksville Hydroplane Challenge is part of an exciting,
family-oriented sport. Spectators new to the sport may want to learn a
little bit about the boats, racing rules, safety standards and the American
Power Boat Associations (APBA), which is the sanctioning body in the United
States.
